Hi guys...![]()
I'm new 2 all of this i was just wondering if anyone know's if i can replace the rear shocks on my vp myself and is it easy 2 do.. If so any tips or tricks on how 2 do it would be very very helpful thanx![]()
make sure u put em in the right way lol nah its easy im the back.as long as u dont have irs u should be fine
Yea, easy job. Jack up the back end and support it on axle stands. Dont get under the car just with the jack supporting it!
Undo the bolts n pull them out! Easy as that!
Regarding that question, i myself am up for new rear back shockies and i own a VP Calais with IRS, how difficlut is it to put them in with the IRS??
lol, nah it isnt much harder.Originally Posted by vpbeast
According to my diagram in the Service Manual they are mounted on the rear edge of the arm, which looks heaps easy to get at.
Just make sure the axle is supported when you remove them, cos itl wanna drop with the IRS.
