    Question engine stops while running

I was running at a 90k when the engine check lamps turn on and then the engine turns off after a few minutes... i started the engine and run again. the lights still on. it happens once in a while. I have a new battery and already check the cables... I was wondering what was the possible problem. Appreciate any help... thanks

Have you tried running the motor for a few moments without the belt on - see if you still get the know - bang.

Sounds like the belt/tensioner may have issues - unless some think slipped into the motor when things were being worked on.

My tensioner jumps up and down due to there being a miss because of inlet manifold gasket ... so I push down on tensioner whilst engines off to make sure its as far down as it will go ... but a firing miss will cause that as well ..

it sounds like you dont have the leads in right firing order !!!

check leads that they are in correct order on coil pack and spark plugs ... and if its not that inlet manifold gaskets gone .... when you put coolant back in after all that work , did you run the engine with the cap off and turn on heater to remove any trapped air ?? if not then the pressure can stuff your inlet manifold gasket ... I know this because I had air pocket and coolant was seeping from out the inlet manifold gasket ...

and to the person saying about engine light always on and stalling ... have you ever had your oxygen sensor and Crank angle sensor replaced ?? also are your spark plugs and leads been replaced in last 4-5 years ?
