5litre motor question...

hey all gonna be chuckin in a 5 litre out of a vr statesmen into my vn ss just wondering if i should be looking out for anything...or if the motor will go in easy and everything will connect and go well...just anything you know that could cause me some trouble let me know about it

I would clean the pickup before you put it in if it's at all possible!

will anything have to be done with the ecu..?because my ss is man and the motor going in was in a auto

Yep, you will need to change ECU's i believe. Or am i thinking of the differences between V6 and V8 ECU's?

Just bolt the engine in and use your VN wiring loom & ECU. Job done.

I would probably get a new spigot bush for the rear of the crank. That's all I can think of.
