    Default vn wiring loom onto vp motor?

    basically ive got a vn wiring loom that i know is complete, and a vp motor that i know works, can i make the two make babies and make my wagon move again?
    the loom is off a s1 vn and i dunno wat the vp motor is but the thermostat is at the front of the manifolds

    i think you will find there is a difference in the looms, the plugs may be different near the computer there is an extra pin in one, and also at the fuse box also it could start but i'm sure you could get a complete loom from wreckers for stuff all.

    I've got a VP S1 motor in my 89 VN and there was no loom change so should be fine, everything seems to be plugged in the same way, biggest changes were to do with the cooling system

    the only real difference is the coolant temp sensors are in different places and the harness need the wires lengthend to reach pretty easy only 3 wires

    Didnt read it right sorry, thought you ment will the vn loom go onto a VP car lol, where the looms are abit different at the plugs and will need modding, but yes it will be fine.

    no it will be fine, people say the vn tune is better than the vp tune

    That might be my problem, thought it may have been my coil packs playing up....
    If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?
