VN problem

can anyone help me car seems to run fine then after a while its starts to cut out especially when stopping at the lights have to try and start it a couple of times push down on the accelerator it almost tries to breathe like its choking then its fine but it happens quite a bit can anybody help me out please any advise would be much apprecciated thanx

blocked / dirty air filter , fuel filter blocked/dirty , throttle body needs clean, old spark plugs or leads ...inlet manifold gasket ,

could even be water in the petrol tank ...

I would try changing fuel filter , air filter , give inside the throttle body a good spray of carbie cleaner and putting bottle of nulon total system fuel cleaner in tank... and fill up with 1/2 a tank of premium fuel then go for a good drive on freeway or similar ...

if that does not help ... then change spark plugs and leads .... if that dont help then it could be inlet manifold gaskets leaking water in cylinders like it does on my car ... and would idle really bad at traffic lights and sometimes stall .. but would start up again no problem ... if you find it gets worse and worse as engine temps increase then its either inlet manifold gasket or crank angle sensor ..

but do the cheaper things first ...
