I picked up a new set of rocker covers, and as i began undoing the bolts on the old ones, i noticed 3 of them are stripped, and i can't get them off. Any ideas as to how i can get them off? Ive considered driling them, but i'm concerened about pieces of the bolt entering the head....?
My first plan of attack would be: Those spring loaded super wrenches.
Second: Use a dremel to cut a slot in the head of the bolt, then remove with an impact screwdriver.
Good luck!
Check out my VP right 'ere!
call dr. bolt he will get the bolts out without anything going into the head, and re thread it for you, and come to you
want his number?
Try prising the bolt up by sticking a small screwdriver under the bolt head while undoing the bolt with a socket.
there are three types of people in the world , those who can count and those who can't
vice grips if that fails cut the head off and use an easyout ill bet if there that tight they will snap anyhow
i wont tolerate cretins aiming to cause problems here at jc and nor will i hesitate to let the moderators know
