    Default Turbo Manifold?

Well I was thinking about turboing my vn, nothing special just a turbo my mate is willing to lend me (not sure on details) And having it on long pipes and mounted under my car. Just wondering if I would be able to have the stock intake manifold and how hard would it be to ake a turbo exhaust manifold?

yup, doesn't matter where u hide the turbo itself, it'll still be obvious as hell with pipes running back to the inlet. and the intercooler, and manifold....

f.e, I'm still not certain on doing it, but if I was to how does the turbo hook up to my standard inlet manifold?

you create tubing to run from the turbo to the throttle body...

you will probably need to do a lot of cutting into the body at various locations, a lot of ****ing about creating the manifold, a lot of ****ing around routing the dump pipe (can you weld?), don't forget the fuel system either or tune either.

cops aren't stupid either. they know what a stock 3.8ltr looks like. they know that it's not stock for the intake to be routed down past the exhaust. so this won't get around them.

but anything's possible, if you've got 5 grand spare cash and can weld and have access to materials then go for it.

I can weld, but only basically, like I said I probably wont bother with it because I don't have the time or money right now, it was just a thought.

there was a vl on the other forum with an injected 5 litre that had been sleeper turbod. couldn't see a thing, pretty sure they cut a hole in the guard under the airbox and ran pipe it through their and it looked stock. you'd probably want to go for a bit of pipe to replace the plastic between the airbox and TB, and you'd also need proper joins to between that pipe and the TB.
