    Default click click vroom

    can anyone help with this problem when i start the car sometimes just get a click and other times its fine what do you reckon ...

    Check your wiring to the starter, battery terminals, chassis and engine earths. If they check out it's more than likely the starter solenoid.

    I'd say starter motor? Have the same problem with another car of mine and was told that's what it is.

    Yeah - Sounds like starter motor solenoid.

    My Supra was notorious for it.

    Id have to sit there and click it - sometimes over 20 times before it would start.

    If its only two clicks at dont worry too much - it'll get worse.

    I think tapping the starter motor with a hammer temporarily helps if it wont start.

    definatelty starter motor, just note he says tapping, dont do what some people do and belt the living crap out of it, if it is a sticky solenoid, this will help till it dies.

    yeah thanks guys will have a look tomorrow got lost today in the rear tail lights did the last Vn come stock needing stop tail globes all round(blinkers and reversing lights as well) mine did had me shaking all over for a while
