need help!! flat spot in vp ecceleration!

hey guys, i got a vp commo executive 3.8ltr auto. notised a problem today witch seemed to get worse. started getting flat spots in my eccaleration? especially when i planted me foot.. i havent changed the plugs or leads in a long time either.. any idea what is wronge with the old girl? the idle is fine when i start it, and she doesnt stall unless i take off quik when shes cold.
any help with this would b massivly apreciated

Start with the simple stuff like servicing your car then gone on to things like o2 sensors and maybe try checking the computer for codes.
