    Default Interior lights no go.....

    Hi guys my first post

Ok so i don't have interior lights the rear ones were working and then stoped. I still have the boot and glovebox lights. I'v checkd the fuses and they are fine i've looked at the bulbs all good and looked at the door swictes and they seam fine so i'm kinda stumped as to what to look at next? Couldit be my Bcm? Any help would be great.

from memory the dome light goes via the l/h binnacle switch on the dash board. i had a crook l/h switch pod and a (second hand) replacement fixed that.... i dont know if the rear map lights go via the same way - i had an exec and they did not extend to such luxury! pete

My light stoped working months ago BUT the good news is I can no longer see the huntsmans when I get in at night so now they don't exsist. Wel I got a baby one out today in the daylight. I'm hoping he has no siblings:P

One time when I had a light, I thought I saw someting moving up on the headlining, but thought I might have imagined it. Untill a big fat huntsman jumpd off the roof and landed on my nekked elbow. OMGNAUEGAE I nearly had a heart failure, I was on the highway just thinking........... resissssssst resist...... it's not there, it's not real. Lol he crawled off then later up the road he was crawling across the dash and I was like THATS IT! *extreme braking* grabed some paper, got him on that and OUTSIDE :P then I drove home heart failure free

Have you checked the plug that runs behind the end panel on the dash? Take the panel off (2 screws) and wiggle the orange wires that have a plug. (Wires are fairly thick)

    Hi there,

My interior light wasn't working in my Stato and after going through all the things you have stated i eventually pulled the switch out of the binnacle and opened it up. One of the copper strips on the little circuit board had corroded enough to break the circuit. A wee bit of fine wire and a couple of drops of solder and it is all working again, including the rears. Might pay to have a quick look for this problem.

    Cheers.......................Pete!
