Cruise Control

The cruise control doesn't work in my VP Calais (or maybe I just don't know how to use it..) are they common to go? What usually causes them to stop working?

As for the problem 90% of the time its the brake switch, which i dont know how to fix or i woulda done it and fixed my own cruise control....

i've actually got a photo here. fuse panel open. i'm not sure if the one i circled is the cruise or the brakes, but just adjust both to be safe. what you want to do is grab them and wiggle them while pushing them towards the firewall. you should hear a couple of clicks. once done, take it for a drive, and see what happens

i'll second all that, ie: search for other threads.. and it's usually the brake switch...
otherwise, check the fuses to be sure... but i'm sure the CC is tied in with other devices on same link, so you'd noticed they're stuffed as well...

I did search for other threads before hand, I always do before creating a thread and didn't find anything.

All good now though, my cruise control is working, thanks for the help anyways.

i reset my brake switch today. but my cruise still doesnt work. no symbol on dash and wont hold any speed

Just do what me and hayden done, after the manual conversion his started working again for some reason

Might have something to do with the facted we changed the pedal box?

Awsome shane mine hasnt worked since i bought it or i just never knew how 2 operate it hahaha i'll give this a go on the weekend n hope it works
