Morn'n all.
Just interested to know if anyone has experimented with different sway bar setups on a vn vp v6 wagons. I currently have the factory bars with king spring lows and KYB's. The vehicle has no lsd. Any ideas on where i can make an improvement. Considering I have no LSD should I only alter the front or both? On a side note are lsd's in good cond. easy to come by and what would i be looking at price wise?
And foamy, if ur out there I'm looking for a tune.
Thx in Adv.
different sway bars suit different driving styles/drivers.
basic rule of thumb with sway bars, a bigger bar on the front = more understeer, a bigger bar in the rear = more oversteer.
what a lot of guys tend to do is fit the biggest bar inthe front (30mm) and then play around with rear bars to get the right ballance between over/under steer.
from factory, the car is set up to understeer. this is generally considered safer then oversteer. SS models had a slight different sway bar setup and were slightly more oversteery.
surfwagon has done a lot of experimenting with sway bars so he's be a good guy to ask in regards to wagons
good luck findinga used LSD thats in good condition. bestyou can hope for generally is a LSD thats in a re-buildable condition. butyou may get lucky
