Leave it standard. Fads come and go but in the end everyone seems to value standard unmolested cars the most.
If you really really want to have a coloured interior, pick up a second set and keep the originals tucked away for the future.
Interior plastic is cheap and easy to come by (now) so grab some spares. In the future they wont be so easy to come by.
I know this from experience. Most of my cars are from the 60's and 70's and it's next to impossible to get good original interior parts. Everyone who modified theirs in the 80's is kicking themselves now. :-)
I've only just got into Commodores but eventually it will be the same with them. In 10 years parts will start becoming scarce.
Do what you want with your car but keep the original stuff tucked away.

Yeah I reckon I wiull pick up a spare from the wreackers, because so far I have kept all the stock parts. I only painted it because it was broken so when I repaired it I had to respray it and it was the only colour I had lol. But I reckon it looks really good and II will most definitely do the rest.

I would say paint it all but my main concern would be what it looks like a year down the track.

say you paint it all then in bits it wares off and other bits fade then your gonna have to do it all over again.

I think that the original colour is not really that bad and it isn't unsightly.......

Hey mate, have you sprayed the rest of the console? if u have got any pics of it? debating whether or not to paint mine. gotta redo my head lining so will match em up if i end up painting my console, so would love to see yours finished.

I'm yet to find a custom painted console that doesn't look gay. Leave it the stock color.
