VN sway bar> replace with VS sway bar?

Hi everyone. My car is a VN S1 wagon. To put it simply, it handles like poo even with new shocks and lowered springs. Have been sussing the front sway bar now and then for a few weeks now and it looks really pissy and small/ thin. i have my stock VS front sway bar in the shed and it looks much chunkier even though its stock.

Now i know the track of VS is wider than VN, but will it still fit under the VN if i used the 's' shaped aftermarket swaybar link pins? Has anyone done this before?

Why dont i just buy a new aftermarket sway bar you may ask? well this VN is just a beater daily, and i really dont want to buy anything new for it, so hand- me- downs from my VS where possible are being utilized!
