vn, poor idle hunting and fan running constant!?!?!?

Just wonder what the hell is going on atm, cars running poorly
after the fuel pump has primed, the fan relay cuts in and the fan comes on...engines not hot at all
then once it starts which is easy, it hunts alot, when the accelator is depressed the engine has a slight miss the idle drops for a second then it revs, but u can put ur foot to the floor a release it then the revs increase any ideas! really need a car for work tomra....
coils good,ignition leeds good, plugs good
map sensor fine
when the throttle position sensor is disconnected there is no change, in idle or running... any ideas! would be great!

have you checked your ECT sensor (engine coolant temp sensor) can cause rich running mode and engine fan to run and overly rich fuel mixtures . O2 sensor may be out of whack too giving a incorrect fuel reading . have you pinned out the codes yet and check which ones they are that give you a place to start .

Yep, check those fault codes - sounds like it's going into "limp home" mode due to a faulty sensor input to the ECM somewhere.
