anyone help
What's the tire size? It should be writen on the side of the tire.
My understanding if 245 or higher the front strut hits the tire, 235 is max.

Try swaping the fronts with the rears? But maybe the 40 profile messes it up aswel?

lol hope so thing is to i took it to a tyre shop they put em on and i left came back and told em i could smell rubber and they looked and said na all good so i left then i got a flat the next day went to change it these arvo and found rubber in the guard and the strut was shiny where it was rubbing i tell u i was on the phone to the tyre shop in a hurry let em know wat i thought
Yeah i would be asking for them for new front tyres for free if they chose the tyre, they should/would of known they where rubbing when they put them on. If not there not doing there job.
Just ask for 235/35 tyres!

HSV rims on a VN offset will need a 235/35 to clear the spring base.
yep...235/35 for them to fit...any wider or bigger and you'll have the problems you're experiencing.
i have 19" signatures on my VP with 235/35's and dont have an issue at all. forgot to add that in my original post
hey all
Couldn't you just put spacers on hubs? wouldn't that solve the solution????
spacers are illegal tho and they make the studs weaker

Mmmmm i Supose aye
But its only illegal if you get caught![]()
i fitted my vx gts on the vn with 245s, really does depend on the tyre tho i didnt have trouble withe height although it was preety ***n close. maybe hit the spring base wid a hammer to massage some more room

yea that sounds about right. i think mines about that too.
but as beefcream stated, it does depend on the tyre manufacturer. they are all different. ive had some 235/45/17's that were fine on the rear and then got some cheap ones and they rubbed on the outer guards. :S
