Default grinding noise going over speed humps

Ok about 4 months ago I got my power steering rack and pump changed to a new rack and pump, and since then going over speed humps the front of the car grinds somewhere when going over it, i have been under the car and cannot see anything out of the ordinary, nothing seems to have grind marks on it, and nothing seems to be hanging low...

The back of the car is about 2.5" lower then the front (front is on stock springs) The shockers were replaced in November last year and the rear ones not to long ago either..

Any idea what this could be?

consider yoursely lucky bro no scratch marks underneath ive had mine lowered 2 weeks ago no matter how i tackle speed bumps or driveways it scrapes in the rear and as old mate said on the Y piece the front of the car is usually prety sweet they tend to drag the ass a fair bit maybe you just havent hit anything hard enough to scratch or dint it yet

id say check ur muffler just before the rear diff - id also say if u have the rear dropped 2.5 without an adjustable panhard then u have a myriad of things that could be scraping - my first guess with any commodore is the middle muffler - its the lowest point, Then the Y Pipe, Then the Fuel tank

Mine gets the scraping noise but its only the hard plastic mud flaps behind the front tyres. Just another thing to check

Australians are so compliant and docile. Its no wonder Big Brother government just gets away with over regulation to the point where Victoria is now a police state. If you dont like speed humps why just accept them without opposition. I now press my hooter long and hard every time I drive over a speed bump. Its my form of demonstration against the latest draconian imposition.

An example of government logic. City of Yarra tells me they have speed humps to discourage use of local roads by non residents, yet Vic roads wont let traffic turn right from Johnston st into Hoddle street as the main feed onto the eastern freeway, therby forcing traffic down Johnston street and into the side streets (and over all the annoying speed humps).

muzza spec cares are supposed to grind...

just because the front is on stock springs the actual ride height at the front will be altered, i bet its the exhaust scraping.

    ^lol...

weirdo. Or you could just suck it up, like the rest of the world. Stop being such a bitch, scraping on objects is just part of having a low car. Deal with it.
