Whats the DIFF!

motor/gear area i know what im doing but when it comes to diff`s i have no clue
im going to replace the diff in the car soon as its busted and 100% standed any advice on what to look for etc

is your car auto or manual, any other mods? what do you want it for (burnout comps, off street drags track use, daily)

i'm no diff expert but I'd say an LSD with 3.9 gears if it's auto. i got told that 3.9s were too tall for a manual tho. any change in diff gears will need a speedo corrector kit.

metal flakes in oil any imperfections in gears check the play by turning the yoke back and forwars thats all i know so good luck

you mean 3.9 gear are to short taller gears are a lower ratio

so what is the standed on a v6 auto vn 3.08?
and im after abit more of top end so i can kill abit of accelration what racio should i look at going for and can i rebuild my diff to that racio

also what price would i be looking at to get it rebuilt ?
