I have a vn 5 liter with a HDT Aero body kit and i am looking into stroking out my 304 to a 355 and want to supercharge it(under bonnet). i want to get about 500rwhp (so i can beat my mates turbo sylvia at summernats 2010) i want to find a vt roller block for the job as i have heard they are a much better block. what exactly is better about them??? also i would like to run some group a twin throttle bodies but can you run a supercharger with them?
You sure can run a blower with twin throats dude.
A blown 355 is capable of making 500+ HP, throw a nice cam in it too. The VT roller block had the roller cam in it didn't it?

I'd probably go C.O.M.E over anything else PERSONALLY, Harrop are a good choice also.

True, or do that. Might get slightly better results with a fresh 355 from scratch though. Complete rebuild with 355 stroker crank etc, some good bits and pieces.
For easy quick power, just strap a blower on an LS1.

CVE Performance did Moe's VN SS, "MYSS8U".
That is a twin throttled, cammed and blown 355 VN SS. That thing is absoloutly spastic. Made 470rwkw on a Dyno Dynamics dyno.

I have gone a way from the Holden 5 liter now. I have it confirmed that i will be getting a stroked LS2 for even more punch. There will be no blower but high compression. I will have a complete parts list in the next week so i will be sure to let you all know all the goodies there will be in there. I just need to sort out a gearbox now.
