1991 VN SS Exhaust Note Help

Ive just bought a vn ss and i just put a 3inch system on it and it sounds ok but has a tingy note to it anyone kno wot i should do to get a nice sound to it?

has the cat been hollowed out, this will cause a tiny noise, does it have 1 or 2 mufflers in it.

im not sure really but it just got the single system on it at the moment but im planing to making it duel hopefully that wil change the sound a lil more
