vn back door not opening

hey ppl we have a vn calais daily work rig !! problem is the back drivers side door wont open its central locking but the lock dont go all the way down!!!!

no one interestd 2 help me!!!!door skin now off everything looks operation !!! could it be the lock siezed any help well be great cheers

hey i have the same problem with my vp side rear door and it didnt go all the way down so i put the key in the driver door and turned the key to the left to it clicked then back to the right and now it works fine.. try that it might work too .. it might sound stupid but it worked for me lol

it sounds like the striker/solenoid. i think there's a couple of threads up on it, search for those terms

camo 1990 yea doesnt have key barrel in front doors so weird my other vn wagon has got it but!!!!!cheers

Had the same problem with mine. Replaced the locking module in the door problem solved

doors all sorted now sprayd wd40 in mechanism in the door an just keepd lifting outer door handles works sweet now
