Hey guys,
I plan on lowering my wagon on superlow king springs but I want the rear to sit a little lower, because as you know most Commodore's are higher in the rear, but I dont want it to be permanent - in otherwords I dont want to be putting Ultra's in the rear. Im thinking of putting a pair of adjustable air shocks (link below) in the rear so I can even out the ride by adjusting the rear to sit a little lower but I still want to be able to raise it up again when I need to load it up. Would this work? Just wondering if this would be a good idea or if there is an alternative?

not for what you want.
Springs determine height.. you match the shock absorber to the spring.
Spring takes the load, absorber sucks the energy from the spring.
Get airbags if you want to do what your describing (totally different to that link and roughly 10x more expensive)
aZk.
Double post...
You would be better off getting air bags, shocks do little if anything to the ride height. I'd say that adjustable shocks would simply be to control the dampening rate.
Anyway, you won't be able to get it lower than the superlows with adjustable anything.
EDIT: azkwazere just beat me to it.![]()
Oh okay. Just an idea. Clearly I didnt understand it fully, so thanks guys. What will you need to do airbags in the rear? And no, I dont want a compressor inside the car. I'd be happy to adjust it without one. Just looked on ebay and a set of bags is actually cheaper then a set of adjustable shocks? Why would it cost ten times more? What is needed?
Cheers
Nevermind. I realised I was looking at the wrong airbags. How much would a pair of aribags cost for the rear?
