VN sedan rust

Hey all. rust in the tail just above the taillights next to the boot on a sedan, hows it getting there and is it so much of a problem?

thats normal mate !!! replace boot wif good 1 one take 2 panel shop they will be able 2 help u out!!!!!

Usually a sign water is getting in somewhere which you will probably find when it rains....and hope its not too bad

yeah real common, that is why so many have heaps off silicone around the lights.

Yeah, the crappy factory seals around the tail lights don't do much after this many years. You should remove the tail lights, sand back all the rust, prime it up, paint it, and then silicone all around the tail lights to stop further leaks
