plastic protector in door jars.

i wanna get some of the clear plastic protector that they put in the door jars its in the wheel arch bits of the rear door. but i need it (or something like it) to go under the bootlip cos it's rubbing where the lip contacts the rear quarter. i don't wanna go with plain contact cos i think it's a bit crappy and won't stick well in the rain etc.

You could probably try some of that stuff that people stick to their headlights to stop stone chips. Could be worth looking into
