    Default Need DIY rear brakes

    Anyone got a DIY repair rear brake calipers and repair and replace on the rear rotors please
    Real cars don't power the front wheels, they lift them

    the rear rotors are scratched beyond repair so ima replace them just not sure how to remove the rear rotors

    unbolt calipers and move them out of the way.
    loosen handbrake.
    tap back of rotors and the will fall off.

    Make sure handbrake is off and the other wheels are chocked.

    arr sweet thank you, oww 1 last question wat should i go for a set of protex brand rotors or DBA ?not slotted or drilled

    at my work i ordered sum dba rotors just standard ones from a place called betterbrakes for $42 each and 25 for pads with trade ofcourse but it cant be that much different

    back brakes do very little.
    Unless you have upgraded the front brakes standard is the way to go.
    You don't want the back locking up all the time.

    Yeah, I wouldn't bother putting too much effort into the rears. Just a new set of standard discs. put a kit through the calipers.
