Average price for a conversion is under $1000.
only v8 getrag and t56 seem to go over this figure.
Head to a auction and get a whole car cheaper.
You will need everything listed here -
The complete Vn-Vr Manual Conversion Guide.
So yes, better to get the entire car.
the gearbox was rebuilt 8000 ks ago and he said i can have it installed (hes a 3rd year app mechanic) for 1500 and im getting a bunch of other parts off him too pretty cheap coz he wrote off his car
Whats it going to cost you in total, including the installation?
An entire conversion kit for a V6 is around $900-$1200 with a box that hasn't been rebuilt. Rebuilt boxes go on ebay for the $1k mark. Installation shouldn't be any more than $600-$800 for someone who knows what they are doing.
installation is included. im also buying some 17 chromes for 150 some vt brakes and a few other bits and peices when i get to it.
