Default Are VN Calais trim parts hard to get now?

Today, while walking past a local wrecker, I noticed a VN Calais on the top of a truck headed for the recyclers.

It was painted that pale gold with silver lower body. The engine had been removed and because it was on top of the heap, I couldn't see inside, so I don't know what was left inside, but it had all external Calais trim, including a very clean boot garnish and tail-lamps, bumpers and front guards. All suspension and brakes were still on the car.

I thought this was a waste. The parts were all pretty good and would be expensive to buy new.

    Bastards - how could they

Still plenty of them around - but finding good plastic parts can be tough.

Some of the parts can be hard to locate, but with more and more of them being wrecked in accidents, the parts are still ok to find. In Adelaide, they just had 4 arrive..... having said that I can already hear a rush of cars being started to run to U-Pull-It to grab some bargains ahahahahaha.
