Also replaced the o2 sencor 2 weeks ago and the 2 codes are still lighting up,the only problem i can seem to find is the conecter that the o2 plugs into is abit melted would that be cause the problem?

if the sensor is to far down on the pacemakers it may come up, like near the cat on the vr version, should get it move to the passenger side pacemaker and see if that helps then it wont be reading 2 lots of extractors,
also if its coming up with 2, i had a problem like that and it was oxy sensor and CAS, but both where new, i\thee was a loose connection on the DFI plug should undo it and look at it and see if there is a gap between the plugs, where the wires extented at all for the o2 sensor?

did you reset the ecu after fitting the new sensor the codes will stay showing until you dissconnect the battery.

yep i reset the codes and they still pop up, coe 13 then after about 20 min of driving BAMM 44 jumps up ,kinda getting really annoying , and not sure what you mean by ( DFI plug )

are you using an ethanol blend fuel? had heaps of drama's with O2 sensor, codes 13 & 44 all the time. Replaced and cleaned O2 sensor many times, and played around with tons of other remedies but in the end, running on a non ethanol blend has completely eliminated the error codes...
is your car on LPG? if so - forget about the oxy sensor code. you'll never get rid of it![]()
narr its not LPG, but i did put about $15 worth of E10 in the tank the other day would be around the same time the o2 sencor played up, might drop $40 vortex in it to clean it out

I you think you're experiencing the same problem I was, run your tank quite low, and fill her up on something decent (without Ethanol of course). Go home, pull out the O2 sensor and give it a clean, and reset the ECU to clear codes. From there you should be running fine, see how it goes (most of the E10 will be used on the drive home from servo)
also, while you're having a look, check that your O2 sensor wire isn't rubbing on parts, tie it to a side away from the pacey's...
