Um where does the blue wire connect to on the other side front end of the console?
I think I've got everything else right but I don't know what this blue wire connects to because theres no blue wire on the other side of the loom for the front lighter at near the gear shift.
Just graft the wire into the front lighter that isn't the earth or the wire for the small light.
Are you running a complete transplant console from a calais/statesman? Does it have the light inside the console? I seem to have this vague memory of the blue wire running to the tilt switch so the light comes on when you open the console lid... I could be making that shit up though.

uhh, from memory (S1 VN Calais), there's a brown, yellow and blue wire.
One is positive power for aux power, one is earth, and the other is positive for the light on the socket.
Just grab a test light, and check which is which.
I've got all the other wires done up, its got an after market lighter in front so the colors are a bit different, on the stato loom i have black on black yellow and brown onto themselves ect. I just spliced in, but I cant find any blue wires there, on the other end it just connects straight to an earth, so I think you may be right morton, but for me its not important cause I don't have it(might do it later on). It also doesn't go all the way through the loom so I think this supports your theory also. Thanks for all your help guys.
Morton is right. Blue wire is for the light in the centre console. Should end in a black right hand connector. Also is quite short and won't reach the other ciggie lighter.
