Hey,
Was removing my head unit today in order to install a new one and inso doing I removed the aircon/heater controls. As i did, i removed the rod on the temp control.
I'm assuming it goes to the white lever type part that makes the heater box make a noise if you move it lol.
Just wondering if anyone can confirm my assumption or correct me.
And what to do when re-installing
I hope my description is adequate.
Cheers.

Yes you are correct it goes to a leaver which opens and closes the heater box thing...
if you have taken it out already, did u mark where the clip was on the rod b4 i took it off?? as it can be a pain in the ass to get back to the right spot!

if i remember right to put it back in you move the control to hot (as far around as u can put it) and then try different spots on the road until u get the right spot for it to be able to turn it back all the way around to cold... or it could be the other way? i cant remember... sorry
if someone else can confirm this? as i stuffed mine up and got a pro to do it when he replaced my heater core![]()

the clip has a little cover that loks down to hold the rod in place.
lift that up first or buy a new one if it is broken
move heater knob from hot to cold and watch the rod.
move it to the outer most setting then push the lever on the heater all the way back. now install unit then clip rod into place. making sure it is still all the way out.
In would work fine aswell.
