Unhappy Is there a difference between the V8 and V6 auto gear boxes out put shafts?

Is there a difference between the VP V8 and V6 auto gear boxes out put shafts and can you change them over because i want to convert my Pajero into a V8 and the only adapter for the transfer case is for a V6?
Otherwise I'm going to have to look for a different solution.
    Thanks for any help.

Might be a bit complicated with the sump and and mounts depending on how the Pajero is but you can get HQ style sumps for the 5 litre that are back to front if you have to

Yeah the bellhousing and I think also the input shaft are different but you can get an adpater to run the V6 box behind a 304/8
