Well I was wondering if you could get chrome window molts on a vn? like after market or what not. Also can you buy like chrome tape? then I would just do my own in that stuff, but I dunno where to buy it.

The VN lexcans that where the Calais equivilant had the chrome window moulds. Very hard to find a set though. Other than that, there is a few threads on doing it yourself. As the moulds are pressed metal anyway, and just need some paint stripper and sanding to get them looking good.

Why not just get a set of VP Calais window surrounds for ur VN?

IMO they look 100 times better than the stock vn ones stripped and then polished!

Because the strips that run under the quarter window are not the same.

Obviously if you were gonna do the VP Calais window surrounds, then you would buy a pair of VP Calais 1/4 windows as the chrome surrounds are attached to the windows on them.

Ummm dunno to be honest mate. I havent put mine in yet. If they are anything like the original VN ones then there should be 2 screws on the inside of the doorjam holding it in. And then behind the 1/4 window interior trim there should be 3 or 4 screws holding it in....

Find a good electroplater and get them chromed !!!!
