    Default Tacho not working correrctly.

Okay well in my Calais everything else works, bar the stupid tacho.. (oh and power windows but thats cause I took the switches out and been to lazy to put them in) It works sometimes, but then spazzes out. Kind of funny to watch but utterly annoying when you want to know the revs. When it does work it jumps around like crazy. Its not the cluster itself because I have put 3 different ones in and the problem still remains. Any Ideas guys?

Id say ignition module because thats where the tacho signal is generated.

I was thinking more along the lines of replace it lol. But could just be a loose connection somewhere. Do you have the S1 or S2 setup?

S1 has square coils, S2+ has round coils. S1 coils/modules are known to be dodgy apparently.

big wad of cash to find its still the ignition module messing up the signal.

he already has a stock tacho in the dash, so no need for a 10k tach thatll only evre see half sweep.
