    Default Is there such thing as a manual v6 motor

    I need to know for personal curiosity if there is a difference between and auto v6 and a manual v6 or are they interchangeable?If i stuck a manual v6 in with my auto trans would that work or not.......i have no idea.

    there is a difference in the early vn's

    in the vp's the difference is the flywheel and spigot bush vers a flexplate.
    maybe starter motor to.

    Series one had two different motors:

    Auto
    Manual

    Based on different cranks...

    Series II can take anything so long as you have the right flywheel... starter motor and ECU are NOT required to be changed.

    2. V8 Tail Shaft, T5, Suit IRS VP
    3. T5 VB Gear Box

    no worries at all for the VP so long as it has the same motor from factory...
