    Post snapped fanbelt whilst driving! answers please

    i have replaced the fanbelt, put new leads and a new coil pack on my vn and it still wont turn over like it sounds like it is going to start but just doesn't crank over... should i replace the crank angle sensor?? and would it have done anything to the cpu??

    Check the wiring plugs in the vicinity of the belt, when it snapped it night have damaged something, especially at the CAS. I don't see any way it could damage the engine computer.

    ^^as above??, But have you done error code check yet to see what the car is seeing.
