what would be the best tool to take a towbar off, its a mates vp and we've tried wrenches and a few sockets, but nothing seams to even loosen it?
rattle gun hookd up to aircompressor or maybe tension wrench
cheers, will try soaking it tommorow, how much would a mech charge to take it off? surely not much?
stop being girls and use some fkn muscle ffs its only a towbar.
if you really cant get it off dont go to a mechanic go to a panel beater
crc and a sockets and a hammer to bash the wrench with.
Just get a long extension on the ratchet. I found 5 foot was about enough when I had issues. When that snaps the bolt, then use the angle grinder.

its not alays about how big you are and im not trying to sound tough either.
i have a mate who is nearly half my size but he an crack bolts i cant.
seems liek theyre rusted pretty tight and if thats the ase you will only break them using a lever.
wurth and matbe some other companies make a spray called rost off, its kinda like wd-40 but designed for rusty shit.
give that a go
grinder and cut the head or nut off the bolts.
or a nut splitter and split the nuts.
the nut splitter is harder to get hold of then a grinder.
if u can get a ratchet to grip bolt an then put a bar on it to xtend its length and u mite have better leveridge an honest u dony need to be a muscleman to do hardjobs im 18 5ft8 an weigh 65kg and iv surprised my BIG brothers wen it cums dwn to it
Big f**k off breaker bar and a steel pipe. Or a good rattle gun if you have a compressor..
yeah i had some issues with mine, i just put a spanner on there with a big ass pipe, worked a charm![]()
angle grinder thats how i got it off on the vp :P
