would need high temp paint i would asume i was thinking of all kinds of otha ways, masking tap paint brush lol, never thought of sand paper cheers dude lol
easy way suck up paint with syringe squirt paint into groves start engine to dry takes 1 minuite to do if u cant get heat proof paint in ur colour use any as a base coat then ur colour on top
no no no not this way if u want to do it hard 2inch tape across whole top use a razor blade to cut out the groves then paint remove tape then start engine to dry or tape will stickOriginally Posted by SV-3800

yes i do this to brakes as well so far on a car that does high speed 100 + kays a day thru hills it is still a1 condition after 2 years
the finish is only as good as the preperation
sweet cheers dude

will get some pics in a few i will go take emOriginally Posted by hispeedvp
no the rims are roh made for usa so ive been told they were originally white and ive had em on 5 or so of my commies over the past 7 years i painted them cos the car looked like a minty wrapper when they were white
and i knew u were joking
geez guyz.. i came across tis problem long ago, and as stupid as this may sound it works a treat.
i just "borrowed my girlfriends nice bright red nail polish and painted that F!@#er. the brush on them things is the perfect size for that job!
jokes..ahahaha i get jokes
Here are some pics the 3800 has only had 1 light coat as i ran out of paint and i slightly marked the back right hand rocker as i put em on wet (to eager to see the end result)
To paint the rotors you only have to mask up roughly were the pad runs as it will clean its own edge but dont paint the whole thing otherwise the brakes will not work properly at first just use pieces of 2 inch tape
Clean the whole lot thoroughly before painting use a wire brush turps then brake clean the more detail you put in to prep the better the finish these pics are taken at night and the car has not been cleaned in a week hence the dirty mags
The mags were a prick to mask they took 2 to 3 hours each one to prep and paint each

paint it with heat proof paint then use some 1200 wet and dry and a sanding block and give it a light sand , that way you get nice clear edges and a shiny finish on your manifold
