    Post help with spark

    my fanbelt snapped while i was driving it demolished the crank angle sensor, would that be the reason for no spark?

    Yes. The CAS determines when a spark occurs.

    Crank angle sensor provides the signal to your ecu that tells your coils when to fire...so yes...that would be exactly why the car wont start

    lol there a have it fully independent proof in 3 forums no less that it was the cas like i said hope all gos well
