    Default vp calais international price

Hi guys, i found a vp calais international in anthracite grey, the owner is an old italian bloke who bought it new when he worked for holdens, he has rarely driven it with 142000km on the clock, always services, its in pretty much mint condition inside out with no problems however he asks like $10000 for it, would this be worth it or am i gettin ripped off, taking into consideration how often does this sort of car come up for sale with the original owner and conditon its in....please help, thanks!

If it's the only car in the world that you want, and you MUST have one, then there's not many left in good condition and it's worth it.

If you just kinda want one because they're cool, and you'd be happy with a different clean model of Calais, then you're getting ripped a new one because it's worth about $7-8000 at most.

If you want your car to define you it's worth every cent. Look at Stealthy:!). But otherwise, I'd buy a 3,000 exec and keep my 7 grand aside for tyres and fuel

    ROFL. Good one!

10k is too much. If it had something like 50,000k's it would be worth 10. Don't pay anymore than 8k or your ripping yourself.

yeah but stealthy wants my car, 'cause i have a red vp calais with tan leather interior and a factory sunroof. it's probably rarer than an international.

re the original question, the price is 'ok', perhaps a little on the steep side, but it's getting that way for good condition vps now. just think about what other cars you could get for 10k. manual vx ss if you're lucky? almost? which would you prefer

Luke reckons your VP is the most fantastic thing on the site pretty much , impossibly rare. Then again even my car is more rare than a international

if it is 100% fatory stock as a rock, well you wont find another in that kinda of condition. there's only 300 made which means they are rarer then then VL walky so in the long run the price may go back up again, if it's mint. But unless your gonna collect it then it's not worth it.

If you just want a daily driver dont bother with a 10g VP

you dont see many still sporting the stock head units
