VN Cluster Into VS?

does anyone know if there will be any problems by putting my L2 VN cluster into my mums VS? it already has a L2 in it now just it is stuffed and i am putting a L3 into mine so was gonna put my old L2 into the VS?

The wiring is different on the PCB (green backing).

If it's the speedo that has stopped - swop the speedo's over.

If it's the fuel gauge - solder up the PCB inside the cluster.

if you swap the gausges into the vs cluster it will work.
you will need to use the vs front and back casings.
the pcb an warning lights are different.

cool thanks guys yeah her odometre has stopped working so might just swap the speedo's

normally its just a cog that fails that you can replace, i cant remember who sells them but where cheap.

You can pull the cog out of the good unit and lube it up into the speedo from your mums car. (the cog sticks and pings a tooth off it).

lol cheaper to put my speedo in as it will just be sitting here doing nothing

the vn probably has a green line around the face while the vs will not, thats the only difference

nope mine doesn't it looks identical to the vs cluster
