Red face vg v8 ute power loss during burnout

i was doing some mad burnouts as you can imagine tonight when i was going round it sounded like it was running out of fuel i.e konking out lol.

i had between half a tank and quarter off fuel but with the spool was spinning round flat out, do you think it could have staved for fuel or pumped to much in when i flattened it.

    any ideas would help thanks

There's your first problem. Your car wants to conk out because it hates you. Or, it could be because your burnouts weren't "mad" enough.

In all honesty, there's nothing wrong with your car. Simply just stop driving like a moron.

As above, if you treat the car that way don't be surprised that it's running like crap.

I sure you know the wrongs of what you are saying, however, seeing that I am not your guardian angel, parants or the police, I would say that with 1/4 - 1/2 tank, the car was starving for fuel, happens a lot, next time try with a full tank and for your own sake, not on public roads, there are a few car events coming up, look into them and really rip it up properly (and legally) till you pop your tyres. At least the crowd will let you know if you did a 'mad' burnout or if you only think you are.

I had a similar problem years ago, thought it was fuel.

Was a dud battery would you believe. New battery, and all was good (at first i thought it was a blocked cat converted restricting back pressure, but volt tests showed it was the battery)

try the full tank and see if that the prob, fuel injection engines don't generally have the flooding probs that carby engines do, especially if you are keeping the revs up, lack of fuel could be the next problem, as in starving from the standard pump. Fill the tank before upgrading the pump, it an easy thing to try.
