    Default vn/vp hood lining foam thickness

    can anyone tell me how thick the foam is so i can replace the hood lining in a vn/vp done a search and only came up with how too's and it doesnt say so i just need to know how thick it is.

    it's not foam, it's fibreglass. or so i been told. you probably wanna make sure whatever you put in there isn't gonna melt/burn or shrink up like some foam does at temperature

    The VQ Stato ones i'm looking at right now are about 5mm thick foam, and the backing is about 2mm and is the fibreglass (well, assuming its FG, could be some sort of board)

    fibreglass ?????? looks like foam to me even in the how too's very detailed one looks like foam ??????
    gonna go to an upholsterer tomorrow to see what they have and i even think you can get fabric with the foam already atatched ill hopefully find out tomorrow
