Hi guys I have been doing a bit of research on the vt brake upgrade. I am in the process of looking for some 2nd hand parts. My list is as follows:

full set of 4 2nd hand calipers
2nd hand master cylinder with booster
braded lines
new rotors and pads

I have seen mentioned in other threads about needin the vt hubs or getting shims but haven't been able to find much specific detail. Do the vt hubs bolt straight on? where would i get shims if i was to go this way and what do I actaully ask for if i am buying them?

I have assumed but can't remember it actually being mentioned but do people put the vt brakes on both front and rear?
