hey guys i just wanna know if anyone here haves got superlow king springs on ur cars if so i wanna know if the car steats just over the back trye as thats what i what my car to look like if anyone got pics with ur car riding on the superlow king springs plz show me
here ya go .. bare in mind rims are standard 15 inch and my boot is gutted - no spare, no carpet.. nothing, and these springs are only a month old so will prolly drop a tad more. Took a measure from centre of wheel to the guard's lip and figues out to 12.5 inches (front and rear interestingly enough) Load ur boot till u get to that level and that's what it should look like

oops! I made a mistake - these are SSL's NOT SL's
need quite low in the rear imo. I use ultra lows in the rear and only low in the front. with 18s the rear flat part sits just below the top of the tyre.
Hey mate, I have super lows in the front and back of my VP, looks very similar to the pics that are posted above. I too, until recently, had the stock 15's on but I've replaced them with VY SS 17's.... depends what look you're after I guess.
Try looking in the "My Ride" section or use the search button, there are plenty of people here who have them.
Are you sure CalaisJohn? ultra lows have the code SL and superlows have HD...
Here is a pic of mine, fronts are superlows but rears are ultralows (and i have gas, sub, spare in my boot + usual crap)
So it would probably be a bit higher without all that crap, might not be what your looking for but its just something to throw out there

I'm looking for a good set of 17" clubsports - and the cash to throw at them
.. okay my curiosity was stirred so here's the p/no's of my springs..
front - KHFL22-SSL
rear - KHPR20-SL, and the king's catalogue defines this pairing as ultralow. Am giving my boot a spring clean so it's gutted but the rear does sit quite low with the twin sub's installed, spare tyre and 85 litres of fuel.![]()
The amount of S's in the part name has no bearing on the ride height they provide. Check this thread out and read the posts made by Not_An_Abba_Fan and gslrallysport.
Lowest springs for a vr commodore
ahhhhh the ssl's were in the front, i got ya now.... yep looks like ultra's all round![]()
nice guys for the help i went out and got superlows set up off ebay god i love ebay lol i put them it so far the fronts i like the back is just seats under the trye and iam happy with that but iam goin to give it 2 weeks and if they have not droped then i will get the ultra's
hey kaneovp if you're not too happy with the ride height in a few weeks PM me.. I may be interested in doing a swap
RJK, yep, it can get quite confusing with the amount of S's
give it more then 2 weeks man, give it like a month or 2.... just to make sure and to get used to it![]()
Don't waste your money, cut them...lol.
I build websites for cheap.
I have supa's allround and they just barely tuck on 15" calais wheels. .
i have ultras in the rear and supers in the front only problem i have is its scrubbing somewhere in the back and i cant figure out where any ideas guys? a mate thinks it may be a shagged centre bearing in the tailshaft or maybe a uni what do you guys think?
If you cant be botherd jacking the car up, just take the bottom back seat out, and see the dint/slice in the floor.
