Default front bumper.

whats involved in taking it off. the front of the car got the old friendly nudge and the corner is pushed in too far about 2-3 cms, enough to break the lights in that corner. i was able to replace the lens (still need to put new headlight @ highbeam bulbs in xenon here we come!) but the corner indicator is pretty smashed and im gonna need to pull the front bumber off and readjust the kit there. i had a look underneath and it looks like its held on with bolts that dont have any grip to unscrew em.

so i figure id ask you guys, how do i remove the kit? i ended up getting the greegorys manual, but it doesnt say how i dont think.

a few 10mm bolts at the front secure the bumper to the reo bar behind it, you can feel em just by stickin your hand up the bottom of the bar...
after that, unscrew the inner guards from the bumper bar

simply slide it off, cant remember if its vn or vp that screw the grill onto the bumper bar or not, but there may be a few screws there too in any case

*NB* when sliding it off, be careful as hell of the plastic clip on either side, its a grey plastic z sort of shaped bracket and the tiny edges top an bottom that secure the bar can be as brittle as anything.. (thumbs down for that design!)

just be cautious and dont damage even more stuff on your car!!!!!

A quick way is to go and get stuck in a ditch, get some drunk idiot to tie a rope in the wrong place behind the bumper and get him to drive off at about 30km/h. :b: Freakin idiot, remind me never to drive into a ditch again.
