what oil do u guys use in ur lsd diff

ok guys i need to put oil in my diff as i can start to hear the gears but i dont know what type to use i been told from a mate that he use's redline gearbox oil in hes diff what do u guys use

according to the book sae 90 gl5 lsd grade

unless its a lsd irs diff then sch sae 80w-140 is requested to be used

and its possible the bearings have had it in ya diff and oil may not help

I've got Shell LSD oil in mine, strange as it might seem ?

Castrol LS90. has an additive especially for LSD

I use a Nulon Heavy Duty LSD oil in my vs ute

limslip is the way to go , if not time 4 rebuild good luck!!!

It only has some of the required additive (Sturaco 7089), Holden say you should add another 100ml in addition to what is in the LSX90.

aw thanks guys for that i went out and got Penrite oil and put it in and its all sweet now
