Chances are anywhere from $180 to $400 depending on where you go, and what you get.

You can get a decent Redback system with one muffler for around $250 fitted, or $350 with a high-flow cat.

Here's a good idea, instead of asking people on here, pick up a phone and ring a few exhaust places for quotes.

It's funny to me how there are so many people, that buy exhaust systems without even knowing what kind of muffler(s) are present in it.

You should research to check what design of muffler(s) you desire, how many mufflers you desire, the piping size and design you desire, the brand(s) you desire, and importantly, the muffler design type(s) in the system...

Just buying a "sports" or "redback" or "big bore" system effectively means NOTHING.

Also, the stock VN/VP/VR V6/V8 cats (yes, wow, they are the same between V6 and V8) are amongst the HIGHEST FLOWING available for these models.

Plus using one means you don't need to muck up the factory orientation in conjuction with the engine pipes and the exhaust pipe(s).

The big body + good flowing internal shape means very good flow for a cat converter.

what do you mean buying a redback system means nothing? redback is a brand, not a type... and they are pretty decent for what you pay. i would assume they use straight through mufflers, however it's high flowing regardless so it really doesn't matter *that* much here. no one has complained about flow on a 2.5" redback system. i would rather buy a redback 'sports' system than a no-brand 'straight through' system from 'korea_exhaust_shop5' on ebay...

can you please explain what this means as well? high flow cat fits in where the old cat was... no 'mucking up orientation'...
