Ignition Timing

I have searched everywhere but obviously not hard enough.
Can somebody please point me in the right direction to a "How to advance the ignition timing".
I am assuming there are alredy threads covering this so I appologise.

i don't know why you weren't able to find it, i have copied and pasted my own instructions at least three times since i've written them. and i doubt i'm the only person that has posted how to alter timing . this time i'll just link you to the thread. if you have any problems just reply here, it'll be easier.

advancing the timing on my vp v8

dizzy bolt is 9/16. if you want to make life REALLY easy, go buy a single 9/16 spanner from bunnings for $1 and cut it in half. there's not much room behind the motor
