Whats the micro switch in the picture for? Is it needed for central locking?
Ive got the plug in the loom on both doors but only one of the switchs.
Also ive got all the actuators and mounts for 3 of the doors but the drivers, i only got the actuator for the drivers door. Can i fit it to the original mount.

Technically it isn't needed for central locking but you may run into problems as I did when it decided to stop working.
Basically all the switch does on the driver's side is indicate the dead-locked position to the central locking module and either lock or unlock.
For the passenger side, all it indicates to the central locking module is unlock.
The VN had a different way of mounting the actuators to the other models. The actuator was mounted to the door and a long rod from the actuator to the lock. Later models have the actuator attached to the lock.
