Have not been here at the site long but it’s looking good.

Anywho, I have a VG V8 Ute, I was recently front ended by a unlicensed Gemini P plater and it is back on the road with a full respray.
I have finally decided to rebuild the engine as its getting old now – 240000 on the clock but I wanted to know if anyone had any specific advice such as which brands etc… to get for best brand matching/performance. I know enough to be dangerous but not enough about brand - specs – performance – price.
I have a bit of dosh to spend on her and this is what is planned so far:
Stroker Kit to 350/383 – not sure which yet – I assume a 383 stroker would lose me a lot of bottom end power…
Cam, mild, don’t know what brand or spec would be best for the application,
Roller lifters,
Roller rockers – yella terra?
Pistons and rings,
Valves,
Larger fuel injectors + pump
New manifold – maybe depends how much,
Ported/Polished Heads, maybe head replacement,
Larger throttle body,
E6X Haltech computer

It has Genie extractors into a single 3 inch pipe – wishing I had shelled out the extra for the pacemakers…
It already has a full body kit, camber adjusters, lowered a little and adrenaline ROH wheels so I will concentrate under the bonnet now.

So any ideas/feedback would be appreciated.
